OpenRide

Interaction and Visual Designer - OpenRide 2016

searchresults

OpenRide is a startup focused on city-to-city ridesharing. I was approached to do a rapid-turnaround, bottom-up design to help them launch their beta product.

Challenges

OpenRide's target users are familiar with ride-sharing services such as Uber and Lyft, but will need help to understand and confidently use the platform. Also, unlike Airbnb, people on both sides of the service network would be required to share an intimate space (i.e. the car) for a long period of time during their road trip. Therefore, there needed to be a way to assess each other's personalities before committing to a trip.
